WHO INVENTED CUMPUTERS.
Many say the first computer is the "difference engine." The first of these devices was conceived in 1782 by J. H. smith. It was never built.
Difference engines were forgotten and then rediscovered in 1822 by Charles Babbage. This machine used the decimal numbers system and was powered by cranking a handle. The British government first financed the project but then later cut off support. Babbage went on to design his much more general analytical engine but later returned and produced an improved design (his "Difference Engine No. 2") between 1834 and 1869.
Others point out that this is the first ELECTRONIC computer. The earliest computer known is the Antikythera Machine, a mechanical device that computed the positions of the astrological signs on any given date, past or future. It was discovered in an ancient shipwreck in the Mediterranean Sea and dates to approximately 250 BC. The designer/builder is not known, but because of its similarity to other mechanical devices known to have been designed by Archimedes, it is probably his work.
Still others will say the abacus is the first computer. They were invented by the Chinese between 2600 BC and 300 BC is considered as the first computer ever. Abacus was used by the merchants and Clerks in China.

Who invented the computer?
English mathematician Charles Babbage (1792–1871) designed a mechanical computing machine called the "analytical engine." It is considered the forerunner of the digital computer, a programmable electronic device that stores, retrieves, and processes data.
While attending Cambridge University in 1812, Babbage conceived of the idea of a machine that could calculate data more rapidly than existing computing methods, and without human error. The Industrial Revolution (a period of technological development; c. 1750–c. 1850) had been underway for more than half a century, and the world was becoming increasingly complex. Human errors in mathematical tables posed serious problems for many rapidly growing industries. After graduating from Cambridge, Babbage returned to the idea of developing a device to facilitate computation. Beginning work in 1834, he spent the rest of his life and much of his...

Josh Jerrell's scientific directions....

Step one:
Get a paperclip and a blank piece of paper and a card and one penny
Step two:
Put the paper on a solid surface and fold the top left corner to the middle
of the paper.
Step three:
Put a paperclip in the lower right corner of the paper. About 3 inches form the sides
Step four:
Put the playing card and the paper clip together on the left hand top of the paper that is folded.
Step Five:
And have the bottom of the card touch the penny that is laying on the paper. Then you are done.
first u lay a peace of paper flat on a table and draw a diagnle line but draw 4 lines then get a penny and trace around it in the diagnle lines and get a paper clip and draw over the penny and then get a card and put it over the paper clip, penny, and a diamond then get a card and put it over al the items i just said and it combines together and makes a cool picture

I love the way you talk
I love the way you smile
and I love the way you walk
i think of you all the time
I memorizedyou cause' you're so fine
i love that your a lil' gangst
i love your gangster style
i only hate that your a lil' playa
i love the thought of just you and me
but because you can't have just one

Happy Valentines Day
BY : Christina Danielle
I love you so much, but this you don't
know,
Because I am afraid if I told you, away
you would go.
My love for you fills my heart,
But to tell you, I'd be afraid you would
part.
You consume my every thought,
To love you, isn't something that I had to
be taught.
You are my heart, my soul, and my love,
I believe deeply that God sent you down
to me from above.
I love you so much, but I need to keep it
inside,
So in my heart is where my emotions
will hide.

christian valentines poem
A Valentine is nothing like A chocolate or a rose.for in a week these will be gone but valentines remain.
If love were always sweet to tongueOr fragrant to the nose,Each day would be like Valentine's,And we would go insane.
A Valentine just hangs aroundWaiting to be kissedLong after special days have passedAnd every days are here.
So one is wise to choose one wellAnd chocolates to resist. For in the midst of maniaIt's nice to have one near.

YOUTUBEEE
youtube by ayleen
youtube is fun cuz theres videos for like everything even movies. i mostly use you tube to listen to music or to watch scary or funny stuff. The thing i hate about you tube is that it it freezes alot and u have to keep on rewinding it so it could play. The logo is black and red which those are my favorite colors and its cool. when u search things its hard to fing what u want since theres alot of vidoes on you tube so u have to be very specific on wat u search for. youtube is kool though
Youtube
I see videos and pictures;also I see colors and when you click to see videos
their is a place where you can turn up\down the volume.You can skip the parts of the movie;
you can also foward and rewind the video;you can also search for anything in the world and get videos.

Graininess
The sand-like or granular appearance of a negative, print, or slide. Graininess becomes more pronounced with faster film and the degree of enlargement.
Reciprocity
Most films are designed to be exposed within a certain range of exposure times-usually between 1/15 second to 1/1000 second. When exposure times fall outside of this range-becoming either significantly longer or shorter-a film's characteristics may change. Loss of effective film speed, contrast changes, and (with color films) color shifts are the three common results. These changes are called reciprocity effect.
Advantix
The new Kodak brand that identifies the company's Advanced Photo System offerings.
Clearing Agent
A chemical that neutralizes hypo in film or paper, reducing wash time and helping to provide a more stable image.
Video Noise
More commonly called "luminence signal-to-noise ratio." This is a measure of how pure the video signal is (the monochrome or black-and-white portion of the picture). Tape with good luminence signal-to-noise ratios has a sharper, clearer image. This property has even greater importance on multiple generation copies.
Lens
One or more pieces of optical glass or similar material designed to collect and focus rays of light to form a sharp image on the film, paper, or projection screen.
ISO Speed
The emulsion speed (sensitivity) of the film as determined by the standards of the International Standards Organization. In these standards, both arithmetic (ASA) and logarithmic (DIN) speed values are expressed in a single ISO term. For example, a film with a speed of ISO 100/21° would have a speed of ASA 100 or 21 DIN.
Stop Bath
An acid rinse, usually a weak solution of acetic acid, used as a second step when developing black-and-white film or paper. It stops development and makes the hypo (fixing bath) last longer.
Ambient Light
The available light completely surrounding a subject. Light already existing in an indoor or outdoor setting that is not caused by any illumination supplied by the photographer.
Photographer: Anna CollinsKINSA/KODAK Photo ContestFilm: KODAK GOLD Plus 200Film Size: 35 mm
Highlights
The brightest areas of a subject and the corresponding areas in a negative, a print, or a slide.
Fixing Bath
A solution that removes any light-sensitive silver-halide crystals not acted upon by light or developer, leaving a black-and-white negative or print unalterable by further action of light. Also referred to as hypo.
Extra High Grade
A truly high grade tape will demonstrate its differences mostly in the quality of the image recorded. Extra high grade tape coatings are generally superior in noise immunity and lower in dropouts. This means that you get a better recording, and you'll get a better second and third generation copy. Several manufacturers have indicated on their packaging that they have done things to also provide greater longevity, but this is a claim that would be difficult to prove or disprove. For especially valuable recordings, use a high grade tape; but remember that there is no standardization and no requirements that prevent anyone from naming a product "extra high grade." THE SCARIEST THAT HAPPEND TO ME WAS WHEN I WAS IN MY HOUSE AND I WAS THINKING OF LIKE AND WORLD PEACEE SO I TRIED TO SLEEP AND WHEN I FINALLY GOT TO SLEEP I HEARD A NOICE AND I OPEN MY EYES IT WAS A WITCH!!!!!! BUT THEN I REALIZE IT WAS MY SISTER......... IT STILL WAS SCARY.
My Scariest Moment ever!
When I was very little I had a cat named Baby. She got cancer and was sick. I didn't really mind because I thought a doctor could cure anything. So the next morning I searched everywhere for her but I couldn't find her! I got kinda scared... I looked everywhere in the house in every place. Then I freaked out!! Finally I woke up my mom... and she told me my kitty died.

Scary...
When i was very little...so little that I can't remember how old I was...My sister said "Hey Anja come over here I want to show you something," My sister was on the computer. So I came over there and she said "Watch this," The screen on the computer said "See if you can see she difference between these two pictures" The pictures look the same but I thought I could figure it out...So about a half a minute later I almost gave up when all of the sudden this random picture of a guy poped out and went "RAAAAR" I freaked out big time! And never went by my sister when she was on the computer ever again...

The scariest thing that happened to me when i was little, was when i was like 6 or something. i was riding my bike home from school, and i fell down and twisted my knee. The gears on my bike were snapped, and i was a good mile or two from home. All my friends had already gotten picked up by their parents, and no one was there to help me. I was terrified, but i was brave enough just to make the decision to walk home. I limped home while rolling my bike beside me, and when i finally made it home i broke down and cried.
Free write....Scary things....
Um.... really I dont remember a time when I was little.... Only thing I know was a freakin seagull stole my churro when I was younger like 2~ish And I got mad and threw the rest of the churro AT the seagull.... T^T I never got a chance to eat the rest of it.
Um.... when I was 10 just turning 11 I went to a haunted trail.... like over at balloba park and I was sooo excited I invited Amy, Miranda, and Raelynn (Raelynn isn't my friend anymore... issues... >_>) Anyway.... We went to the trail and I was soo excited and then I was talking to my friends there and something was on my shoulder and I kept smacking it thinking it was my dad and I saw that my friends were freaking out and my dad was standing next to my mom!?! I looked around and i saw a guy in a pig costume w/ a freakin chainsaw!!!! O_O I jumped three feet... five min. later and people in costumes came out to scare us Raelynn chickened out and left mmiranda got scared so she leted w/ Raelynn and Me and amy were there.... Well to make a long story short.... I got a nose bleed (Because I couldn't see and got hit by something O_o)
My other story was me and my sister went to are friends house Jessica and her brother showed us a random game were you had to find 16 things wrong in the house.... soo I was 10 and my sis was 6 so we fell for it we stared into the screen looking for the items and then *SCREAM!* OMG a scary face thing pop up on the screen, I ran out of the room looking at my sis when she fell straight out of her chair and Jessica and her brother freaked out too (I don't know why...)
